- A primary rabies vaccination is valid from 21 days until 1 year. A booster rabies vaccination is valid for 3 years.

- No, pets can only fly directly to the UK as manifest cargo however they can if they are on board a chartered flight/ private jet with an authorized person.
Q: Do cats and dogs require rabies vaccination?
- Vaccinations are not compulsory however it is best that the cat or dog has a rabies vaccination before entering the US.
Q: Is HongKong free from screw-worms?
- On the USDA website, HongKong is not free from screwworms. You will need a Hong Kong registered vet to write in a health certificate that the pet is free from screwworms when they have made a health checkup on the pet.

Q: Does my cat or dog require a rabies titre test?
- Yes, all cats and dogs are required to have completed a titre test.
Q: When can I send my pet?
- From the 1st of January 2025, you can only enter Singapore after the rabies blood test has to be performed 90 days prior to the date of export.
- The owner must arrive within five days of the pet arriving in Singapore. If the owner can not comply with this, the pet will be quarantined.
Q: What microchips are accepted in Europe?
- Majority of European countries accept AVID and ISO chips. However a minority of countries do not accept the AVID microchip. If your pet already has an AVID microchip implanted, we would recommend that an ISO chip be also implanted along with the AVID chip.
